Scenery work along the river…..

Happy October everyone!

Now that John has completed his work on the river section of the LT&N Erik has moved into top gear on the scenery.

First up a stock up run to our friends at Caboose in Lakewood, Colorado is a must; the definitive model train store ! Thanks Caboose, we love you guys!! Be sure and stop at Caboose or give them a call, they have an incredible scenery selection only second to Scenic Express our 2nd favorite spot in the model train universe.

Speaking of Scenic Express we utilize their world class products all of the time. They are wonderful people and stock the finest products in the world.

Erik’s kids even help out in the process! The new baby is a good watcher.

Things have progressed along nicely with the section. Water is still on the agenda along with all the little stuff.

Some test shots have revealed the desired impact of the project worthy of the cornerstone of the LT&N sectional layout.

Up next, John has already built the sections for the other side of the railroad. We plan to debut the new sections to the public in our next exhibit this coming season, we look forward to seeing you!
