The Longmont Terminal and Northern’s Homecoming 2017 was 4 fun filled days. 4 days of operations, maintenance, playing, building, testing, running trains, and enjoying the hobby with fellow friends at the Boulder Model Railroad Club’s “40th annual Train Expo” at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont.
Saturday night we had our annual Holiday gathering where many of the front range o scale community was able to connect and discuss some plans like possibly hosting an O Scale National Convention. Leighton is nearly complete with his sections and Bob K has announced his plan to build a 10’ section including an ice dock and stock yards.
As always a very special thank you to Jeff, John, Bob K, Reyes, Leighton, Myron, Mike F, and Erik for making Homecoming 2017 great.
Happy Holidays everyone and John and Erik look forward to 2018 with great plans to further enhance the Longmont Terminal and Northern Model Railroad.
