Wasatch Model Company Union Pacific Passenger Cars
COSM member Rick loves the Union Pacific. When fellow COSM member Erik told him about the cars Roger Lewis imported for his Wasatch Model Company in the 1990’s the search was on.
Rick found a wonderfully factory paint set through Roger and the rest was all bliss!
Roger Lewis imported the models with Ace PM in 1993/1994. He did the models in phases over a few years making it easier for some modelers to collect enough cars for a consist of 12-15 cars. Roger at great cost and effort obtained the best possible information and research on the prototypes. He set the bar higher than anyone could have imagined; to this day his cars still set the standard for what is considered top end detail, nothing was left for the imagination on these pieces.
The absolute best in craftsmanship adorns these fabulous models. Â Truly a legendary project carried out by a true master importer and builder.

Roger used actual Union Pacific and mechanical component suppliers drawings in producing the details on these superb models. Every detail was a stand alone project in itself. The bracing, the frames, piping, nothing was left off from the models.
OCS Microcast among other best of the best in Korea’s finest builders produced each part all painstakingly installed on each hand made masterpiece.
All doors are operational just like the 1:1 prototype.
Fully functional dutch doors, steps, and vestibule doors, done exactly like the prototype.
Dining car vents, antenna, and a rivet counters heaven.
ACF Dome
Truly a masterpiece of the builders art in every aspect. Roger Lewis the O Scale community thanks you for this legendary project and the new standard you set for us in craftsmanship, detail, authenticity, and most of all passion. A true legend in his field; Roger Lewis currently is working with Key Model Imports producing the California Zephyr.
