KMBT_C452 Q76

The 2 rail O scale model railroad community and some of us at the Colorado O Scale Modelers lost a friend today. Our friend Mr Jim Seacrest died in Lincoln, Nebraska at age 78. He was a kind, knowledgeable historian of mid western railroads and a collector of all things related in O scale, and until recent years a familiar figure at the Chicago March meet. Mr Seacrest was an Army veteran and had worked for the CB&Q in Chicago when he was younger. He had retired to Lincoln from the publishing business to enjoy his trains.

Mr Seacrest was also a reknowned photographer and historian; published in almost every aspect of the CB&Q and Midwestern railroad end of the publishing business.

The Colorado O Scale Modelers sends our heartfelt condolences and respect to the family of Mr Jim Seacrest.
